Mark Reyes, Vice PResident of talent management

Marc Reyes is the Vice President of Talent Management at Purple Land Management, where he leads strategies to recruit, develop, and retain top talent across the organization. He began his career with PLM as an independent landman, building a foundation in title research before growing into leadership roles that now shape the company’s talent strategy.

Marc has served as a landman, project manager, and director, giving him a broad perspective on client delivery and workforce development. He has delivered results that exceed client expectations in every major basin across the country and works to ensure that all PLM landmen are equipped to do the same. Marc understands the complexities of title research and ownership calculations and their impact on client goals, and can translate these concepts clearly across industries and skill levels. As PLM’s Director of Development, he focused on training, quality assurance, and process improvement, creating tools to define and measure success. He also worked in client success and technical support with a cloud-based title management software, helping connect land functions and ownership calculations to technology.

Marc leads subject matter experts in developing new talent and building PLM’s online learning library to ensure the team at Purple has the resources to continually improve.

Marc is a grateful husband, father, and descendant of Texas landowners since before Statehood. He’s also a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He values purpose, service, precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
